It's late Thursday and I've just returned from another meeting. One of the guys at the meeting mentioned this way to start a blog. Hey, I don't even know what a blog is, and I'm not an avid blog reader. But this is 2007 and I'm a writer. I write and I write and then when I go to get it published...well, you get the picture. Every publisher in the business has his or her own idea about what sells, and of course we live in a competitive/capitalist/consumer society (or should I say system) and these guys have a track record...and so suddenly here I am with - miracle of miracles - the ability to publish myself. It doesn't cost me anything. I can write as much as I want, what I want. I'm not sitting around waiting for a reject letter for six months. This is great. I put my toe in the water tonight. Tomorrow I change the world.
